Avengers 4: What Could This Mean?

Avengers 4 is coming in May 2019 and it sounds like its really going to change up the formula. Question is, what will it change? Also, what will Captain Marvel change? Will she replace another Captain? Well, let's take a look.

Changing The Origin Story Formula

 So it has already confirmed that she will be the most powerful Marvel hero or villain on screen so far. It has also been confirmed that her movie will really change us the origin story formula. 

      So what could this mean? Could it explain why Fury didn't call Captain Marvel in the original Avengers? Quite possibly. We'll just have to wait and find out.

A Cap For a Cap?

But I thought we didn't trade lives!

With classics like Captain America and Iron man leaving, and Avengers 4 changing the Marvel universe forever, things are changing. Could Captain Marvel take the place of Captain America. For me, it's a sad idea, but there is diffidently evidence for it. Plus you know everyone would love for a women superhero to lead the Avengers.

"I think we're getting to the point soon where we have so many great female characters that those are just our heroes as opposed to when are they all female, all male. It's just the Marvel heroes, more than half of which will be women."

 But it does sound a bit more likely that Black Widow could get her own film! I just don't forget the guys as well.

How Will Things Be Different After 

Avengers 4?

Infinity War and Avengers 4 are a calibration and the climax of the Marvel Cinematic Universe up to that point, with a clear, satisfying ending. But what about after? I have a feeling these 10 years are just the beginning! 

Its already said that Spiderman 2: Far From Home will take place minutes after Avengers 4! From here on out, they could have hero's in different detentions for all we know!

 "I think you look at comics as a guide. I think there will be a finality to moments of Phase Three, as well as new beginnings that will mark a different, a very different, a distinctively different chapter in what will someday be a complete first saga made up of three phases."

Sounds like it will be vary different! Let's hope in a good way! Also, it turns out they already have 20 films planned! They have to planned till 2028!!!

Spiderman 2 Will Be The Start of the Change

Spider-man 2 will be the first film in phase four and will start just "minutes after" Avengers 4. Kevin Feige has gone into more detail, explaining that Marvel believes Peter Parker is the best person "to hold your hand and lead you into the next incarnation of the MCU, in a grounded, realistic manner." As he explained:

"It was purposefully done like this. Like how the events of Captain America: Civil War impacted Peter as he was dropped off by Tony and expected to go back to continue his sophomore year, how the hell are the events of Infinity War and Untitled [Avengers] going to affect him as he, yes, goes back to his junior year?"

It has been confirmed that Spidey will be taking a summer vacation in Europe and will face the master of illusions Mysterio. They also said that another major Marvel actor will cameo, probably hinting at some more phase 4 heroes.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3 Will Tie The Old and New

The only other film that we know is coming fairly soon is Guardians of the Galaxy 3.  Apparently this will be one of the most important films in the MCU to date. According to Gunn, "it will help to set up the next 10, 20 years of Marvel movies. It's going to really expand the cosmic universe." Filming is due to start in January 2019, for a 2020 release date. It will also tie up the Guardians trilogy.
